I had the Jedi Knight Games (showing just how old a Geek I am) and saw this listing - my saber will soon be getting an extra font pack added to it, to match. It's a pretty close match for the game's model, though you never realise just how big it is until you open up the box - longer than Luke's Ep6 saber, depending on whose version you buy.
It's a nice looking piece - the red metallic Power and AUX buttons are pretty secure and aesthetically pleasing, a good contrast to black and chrome hilt and very reminiscent of Obi-Wan's Ep1 saber.
The blade is very securely fitted in the socket, sitting somewhere round 3-4" into it and secured at three points by long grub screws. However, because you're losing that length into the hilt a full 36" L /1" Dia blade is recommended - any shorter and it looks wrong given how big the hilt is (see photo of 36" vs 32" laid next to it roughly where the hilt socket starts).
All in all, if you can't stretch to the most expensive premium replicas, this is pretty damn good for the price and worth considering.
